Life In Progress

Stop this train
I want to get off
And go home again
I can't take the speed it's moving in
I know I can't
But honestly, won't someone stop this train

Nice lines and thanks for the plug!
Samarth: no problem ashish...
Again you deliver a lovely blog experience, with the lyrical verse, but I think this is a weak image for you Sam. This is an iconic image, many of us here will have seen often in the past, and I'm afraid you haven't managed to do anything new with this one, Sam. It's the weekend, it's your b'day - go and relax, dude.
Samarth: going through a low point these days mate, photography and modd-wise....hopefully ill manage to put up something good on monday...

The lighting is really nice and the muted tones are good as well. Have a great Birthday weekend!
Samarth: Thanks Laurie....whoops, I think i may ahve given the impression that it was my bday....i got the present now becuz it wasnt in store on 29th sept smile
Suprise suprise, I like this one. I could be picky and say I would have liked to have seen someone coming up the other side but then these pics always have someone coming up the other side, so that makes it a bit different. The composition is dynamic with all the converging elements and the sign is bang in the right place. AND I like the pp grin What more can I say.

We all have the creative block. Do something completely off the wall. I Went into Blackpool this morning in the walk from the carpark and back I took 66 shots and about 10 where postable. I didn't really intend to take any photographs but my head was on a swivel looking up down and around spotted some neat opportunities. Go for it you know you can do it..
Samarth: it was a rare moment, this...i always wanted to get a shot with no one else on the other side....

prob with taking shots is the time...i planned to go today but got called in for rugby and m now banged up in places i didnt know existed smile...i am planniong to go out with my new baby next saturday to trafalgar suqare and coventry street...also, i still have a few aces up my sleeve wink...

The toning is perfect!! This is a pretty cool shot, Sam.

So glad I went back to check out what I missed yesterday...what an image. And congrats on the birthday gift!! Get the work out of the way so you can enjoy the new camera.
Samarth: thanks micki...am trying my best smile
Soory, mate. I honestly didn't study this for long enough. I see now that the composition is excellent, it's a much better photo than I first thought, in my haste to see as much as poss. Apologies, dude.
Samarth: dont make that mistake again, ur opinion counts a lot...
