photoblog image My Viewing Point

My Viewing Point

No matter how advanced your camera you still need to be responsible for getting it to the right place at the right time and pointing it in the right direction to get the photo you want.
- Ken Rockwell

Another one of those sunrises. On cloudless days you get lovely sunrises here this time of year so pray for a few more and you'll ge to see a few more.

Photo Editing: Vignette, Curves, Shadow/Highlight in Photoshop.

I too see the finger beckoning. That apart I think the picture is superb. I love the colours, and I like the stark outline of the twig and buds.
Samarth: thanks a lot ellie...
Awesome, Samster. Bit of burn on the old finger there imho would have made this 100% bloody marvelous, unfortunately only 99% because of that shocking misjudgement....lol. Don't listen to me you fool, I know *nothing*.
Samarth: no no, i think ur right on this one...thanks a lot andrew...
Hey this is cool. Please can you tell me how you make sure your background color remains black.....Mine is white even though my preferences say black..TY
Samarth: sure...afetr u upload a pic scroll to the bottom of the page and click on advanced setting then change the background colour to black...
Interesting photo. When I look at it my first thought was a skeleton finger beckoning someone and the background ablaze like that seems like the fiery pit of Hell.

That was just the first thought that popped into my head. I bet some psychologist type would say I'm deeply disturbed for seeing that in this image.
Samarth: no no i thought the same so ur alright...well, unless im a psychotic too...
Oh good I feel better I'm not the only one who saw a skeleton finger beckoning. (I read the comments after I posted.)
Samarth: grin...
