Cuzco Spires

Taken a long time ago on my trip to mexico.

A note on the composition: I'm aware that it is sub-par and I wouldn't have posted it if the facade wasn't so pretty. There were some distracting elements below the level that you see (construction, I think) which is why I've taken only the top half.

First, I love the processing... so cool and works great with the subject. I wonder why its cut off where it does at the bottom... it bothers me? Definitely selling the drama!
Samarth: thanks john... ive put up an explanation about the composition now... there was construction going on below the level ive shown...

I wondered about the cutoff as well. Nice shot though....
Samarth: thank you stan...
This is really beautiful Sam.
It looks so much 3D-ish...i love it.
Samarth: thanks chris...
This is a common problem with many of the older structures. Conservation, while necessary, ruins the immediate photo opportunities. I think you have done well under the circumstances ...I usually try to find a frame in details, close crops and zoomed in views when taking the entire facade is just not an option. That aside, the post processing is fantastic.
Samarth: youre right about that, i shouldve definitely tried to go close to the building, if not inside...
Love the processing, superb shot!
Samarth: thanks ashish...
