Keep Still!

That arm! I wanted to post many versions of this at different levels of saturation, cross-processing etc. but I succumbed to monotonous monotone as usual. Try this with both black and white backgrounds and let me know what you think.

Is good!
The arm movement is fine by me, as is the boring B&W.
Samarth: thanks ray

I think I prefer the white background - except for that top left hand corner where the edge is lost. Nothing boring about the B&W here
Samarth: I actually though the white disappearing thing was cool sad
Black background works best for me. I think the processing is fine, I much prefer something like this to anything more over-the-top
Samarth: thanks mark
Original captura, la toma es genial!!
Samarth: gracias

For some reason it looks like the kid is standing on a wall.
Samarth: angle...
Monotone is fine ..I have a dilemna over the tonal qualities of the cobbled street and the burn out of the lad ... I guess this is what you wanted but for me more depth of shadow would have worked for me.

Samarth: faced exactly the same dilemma and i did process a version that was a little less stark but it was pretty much a coin toss at the end...

maybe the playful nature of the child called for a more cheerful and jolly colour treatment but the joy of the kid shines through. mal
Samarth: eternal struggle as to whether it's more interesting in b/w or truer in colour...
