500+Break

Well, it's a pretty poor shot. But it is my 500th and this happens to be the second or third photo I took with my first digital camera so it seemed appropriate. The city is in the background is Mumbai, where I'll be spending the next six weeks. After which I'll be in Italy. Expected date of return = sometime in mid-August. Keep snappin'!

bougainvillea is my favourite flower - grows everywhere here too in beautiful colours. i really like your image, what does it look like in colour?

I think it is a great picture and well presented, except for the part about it being pretty poor.

Congratulations Sam on the 500th. Many start but few survive. It has a delicate vintage feel to it.
Enjoy the trip, I am sure you feel you deserve it after your hard year!
