Sew this up with threads of reason and regret
So I will not forget. I will not forget
How this felt one year six months ago
I know I cannot forget.

Gosh! You're all moody and reflective today Master. Love the framing and compo but these soft subtle tones steal the show for me. Great work. malwalker

Photosam these shots are great. This just proves that its not about the camera. Its about the artist holding the camera!

So very excellent - it will go to my likeys. That subtle colour of the ribbon and the texture of the books cover are real winners. Great composition as well.

I bet there is a big fat drama in there.

You have done better B/W conversions in the past.... the soft glow here is quite astounding.... and an extremely delicate selective coloring has been achieved by ye.... yet i feel the slightly off centre composition a bit odd when combined with the black triangle in the bottom right corner....however, those are tiny konky details one should not be complaining about. splendid capture, i must say.
Samarth: damn you sir, must you see all the flaws that i do...although, there is another flaw that no one has spotted...anyway, didnt think this is the way id process it when i took it...but yes, i spent ages working on this sot get the theme of memory across...

Hi Sam...sorry about the delay in getting know I love all about this except the selective colour my opinion just black and white it would have been a stunner...You take great photos you don't need tricks.

More than anything I think, it has to be the way you have angled your shot and given perspective that magnifies the focus on the importance this keepsake. The lighting too is exquisite.

I don't see any flaws Sam but can't decide about the selective colour, I'm a bit of a traditionalist in that respect and would plum wink for straight B&W myself. In any case, you are certainly living up to your blogging name. Great stuff.
Samarth: thanks a lot mate...had a big debate and henceforth anytime i show the shot, it shall be in bw...
