Still-Frame of an Unshaven and Confused Individual

The days I've felt alone.
And the sea, it brings me back again.
So that I can see my wife.
And I can see my child.
Home, I'm home, it never changes,
Same old faces, same old places.
- Into Oblivion (Reunion) by Funeral for a Friend

Narcissus: #3

3rd installment to the early-morning sleepy self-portraits. I liked the effect in Narcissus: #1 so I've decided to repeat the CCTV effect as often as I can.
I know it looks like I'm deformed but one thing I've come to realise after taking a lot of people shots is that if you were to take 0.5second still frames of people just doing they're ordinary thing everyday you'd get a bunch of very strange and extremely funny pictures. This is me trying to decide if I need to shave.

Photo Editing: Offset, Curves, Halftone Pattern, Desaturate in Photoshop.

Shaving is not a necessity if no-one (like a girlfriend) complains. Mothers don't count, they have to experience their sons. smile

Love your series.

Nice expression! Gave me a smile this morning. Looks like you could be gargling with mouth wash.
