If this is any indication, Sam, yes, you should have! It's a mesmerizing place.
PhotoSam: thanks ginnie...
i love the angle this is taken from. the shadows and lighting are lovely. great shot sam.
PhotoSam: tyhanks tricia...
Dunno, Photosam...I feel this one is enough!
I get this great desire to be in this image...I want to reach up and touch those arches...I want to lay down, and feel the tifferent pavement textures all down my back...I want to bask in that carpet of sun...might even buy a postcard, just so I can come upon it in the shoebox many years from now, and smell its secrets...
PhotoSam: thank you ray...
Ditto what Tricia and Ginnie said, Sam.
Good capture!
PhotoSam: lol, thanks kay...
Very interesting use of color. Something about how you've taken the shot makes it seem very real, even though the picture doesn't have a lot of detail or action happening. Lovely.
PhotoSam: thanks a lot jewlya...
Sam, all that I wanted to say has been said in the other comments, this is an outstanding picture, you can be proud of it!!!!
PhotoSam: thank you
In a way I like this, very suitable effect for this type of compo and lighting, but there's nothing special about it except the processing. Just people walking around and pretty looking stonework not combined very well together. Again, processing ++, but the shot, its the type a tourist takes with a beeping point and shoot.
Apologies for the mean-ness, just honestly. Regaining my photo critique abilities, think I overdid it though. Anyways if you don't like this comment you can always look forward to thew next one.
PhotoSam: its meant to be a bit journalistic and bit street, but there you go...
The people are enchanting Sam! I feel a godly connection with them through your lens! That man looks like my long lost Uncle! Oh SAM!
PhotoSam: this is seriously over the top
Azhar makes for interesting reading matter. I have also noticed that you have more than one of those beeping point and shoots.
Even tourist spots can be seen differently and look differently when applying good camera techniques. Great detail, (people can even spot their uncle) and use of the arches.
PhotoSam: don't mind az... thanks louis...
nice lighting here
PhotoSam: thanks...
Sam, I can feel the coldness of the stone and its textures. The patches of sunlight invite me to step into them and to feel their warm. I would most certainly buy a postcard and stick in on the map on my wall with all the other postcards from places I've been.
PhotoSam: thank you kathryn...
always one of my regrets is not taking enough pictures when you get to far flung places and LOL at Azhar. I rather like the image, it has a fly on the wall documentary feel to it. mal
PhotoSam: thanks mal...idea was to go for ordinary...
Utterly amazing textures! (:o)
PhotoSam: thank you rosalyn...
Love the framing, nice play with light and shadows.
PhotoSam: thanks ashish...
Great shot, like the dark edges and the lighted center area. Nice details and colors too. Very well done.
PhotoSam: thank you very much john...
The stone arches are beautiful. Love the stone floor too. Wow.
PhotoSam: thanks laura...
well i will say a big YES sam, love it,texture, light, shadows it has the lot well done fella,
PhotoSam: thank you tim...
ok this one would have worked better for me if it didn't have that kind of posterized effect in the background the hotspot white is a vivid distraction too. The foreground detail on the stone the colour tone overall and the framing are good but whats going on past that second arch...
PhotoSam: it was really annoying, and i noticed it only when i began to process it... but i liked the texture of the arches and wood far too much to not post it...
Like very much your PP, it gives a very nice atmosphere ! Bravo !
PhotoSam: thank you zeb...
