Really nice, Sam. Like this in B&W, almost high key.
PhotoSam: thanks otto.. did try it in high key but lost too much detail... happy with this result..
how beautiful. I feel like I'm on the camel too!
PhotoSam: thanks!
They do have Nike shoes?
Nice composition... I almost think I am riding the camel!
PhotoSam: thanks a lot sidney... that's exactly where it took it from...
Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. I love it.
PhotoSam: thank you for your visits and comments...
This is very good work, Sam! The person blending into the background somehow gives this a melancholy air. I like this shot!
PhotoSam: thank you martin...
I too like the person merging with the sand
PhotoSam: thanks...
Very nice composition
PhotoSam: thanks a lot navin...

awesome photo - world press worth if you ask me.
PhotoSam:
Were you riding the Camel? Beautifully captured. Looks like under a very hot desert sun.
PhotoSam: thanks chris...
Trusty Nike-clones will get him through!
Love the glare, just like the real thing!

PhotoSam: thanks a lot roz....
Oh Sam. this is just wonderful. The story you are telling me is so rich and full of details. This is the type of photograph I would expect to see in National Geographic.
Likey
PhotoSam: thank you kathryn...
Damn Nikes ruined all authenticity. But cool shot anyway.
PhotoSam: had exactly the same feeling... glad you like it...
Lovely the perspective, superb shot!
PhotoSam: thanks ashish...
wow superb Sam, love it
Beautiful to take this photo in black and white. I will come back on your blog.
Wahou, la photo. Magnifique, je suis partie dans le désert un court instant.
So Nike is bringing out a modern dessert sandal.
Great picture and conversion.
Amazing shot Sam -pushed for time now, but will come back to this one.
PhotoSam: thank you mike...
A great artistic work ! Bravo !
PhotoSam: thank you zeb...
"Get off your camel and drink your milk" not much to say really, cracking shot. mal

I really didn't know what to expect from the thumbnail, so this picture is a wonderful surprise. The composition - truly your perspective, and the mono are all brilliant.
PhotoSam: thanks ellie...
I like the point of view you have given us - I remeber that lurching feeling you get on a camel and the high horizon line emphasises that. also good that he looks like he is about to march into the virgin sand rather than follow the trodden path. Lots of narratives going on... A likey.
PhotoSam: thank you sir!
The thing you got right - color and conversion.
The thing you got wrong - composition. Without the title, and some creativity that black blob looks like well, a blob, not a camel head. If you took the shot vertically and lean off the camel a bit you coulkd have cut the head out. That composition of just the man and the dunes would have been killer IMHO. Good. Without the camel.
PhotoSam: not a chance, have you ever tried taking a shot from the back of a camel?...insane
Very nice composition ! Good framing and light .I like it
PhotoSam:
I likey!
PhotoSam: thanks...
