I have to say Wow. This image just jumps right out at you. Love the details, especially the door. Fantastic work on this image.
PhotoSam: thanks john...
An impressive picture again Sam!
I like the surprising blue color of the door and the sharpness of the church. Bravo!
PhotoSam: thank you...
I love that shade of blue. So vibrant.
PhotoSam: thanks otto...
I really like this. You gave it a cartoony 3D look, specially the hand rails. What's going on with lighting btw? I can't determine the source. Is it top left corner, but then there are funny shadows/highlights on the right side... hmmm...
PhotoSam: thanks a lot katie... the light is certainly not natural which is why it is so strange...
Nice post work! The dodging and burning is really well done and the colour in the door is fantastic.
PhotoSam: thank you.,..
You got the art to put a scary atmosphere in architecture, I love this contrast of the main colors.
PhotoSam: thanks a lot...
Have done something to it or was the door really this colour. This is amazingly cool
PhotoSam: thanks navin... that is the natural colour...
Super post processing here. Sam. The colors are beautiful.
I might have included a little more foreground in the shot.
PhotoSam: thanks kathryn...
Love the gates but I think the work on the bricks is a little too heavy. Perhaps a lighter touch would have helped focus the doors even more. Sorry for being picky ;o)
PhotoSam: thanks mike... fair enough, i feel the same way, tried to fiddle with the light and stuff too much...
Beautiful gate and colour ... Well spotted and nice symetry ...
PhotoSam: thank you...
As usual, your image gives the cleanest possible rendition of brickwork.
The electric blue of the doors is inspired work, Photosam.
PhotoSam: thanks a lot ray...
Lovely shot; your processing has added a touch of drama to it
PhotoSam: thanks mark...
great symmetry
PhotoSam: thanks a lot...
Nice one Sam. I love the post processing.
PhotoSam: thank you...
Beautiful lighting, lovely colour, great detail. What more could you want. This is super. (:o)
PhotoSam: thanks a lot...
Nice one with the colors!
PhotoSam: thank you martin...
The blue doors seems alive in this conversion. (Can doors be alive?)
Great picture.
PhotoSam: thanks louis... certainly hope so...
Interesting blue doors. When I see Gothic churches they usually have red or natural wood doors.
Nice work with the toning.
PhotoSam: thanks laurie...unfortunately, this church was probably made in the last 20 years which explains the brick...
Beautyful composition. Great details and symmetry. This blue can't be missed!
PhotoSam: thanks a lot
Very vibrant, love it!
PhotoSam: thank you ashish...
Hmmm.... nope.
HDR is not a technique to be used for such a shot which is ruined by uneven lighting, because the HDR tech. has created a lot of dark black patches randomly around the frame. Also think a little more space over the top. Just a little below OK for me. I've raised my expectations. The blue door is very pretty though, that part has a great execution. You could have taken the blue HDRed door and combined it with the non-HDR background.
PhotoSam: i can re-hdr this without the uneven lighting because i fiddled with luminosity too much...
really nice work, i'm impressed
well done!
PhotoSam: hdr, thank you...
Keep coming back to this one....love it!!!
Petra
PhotoSam: thanks...
Nice color and tones. Perfect composition Sam.
PhotoSam: thanks a lot tom...
I like your different approach with the dodge and burn, that blue is excellent.
PhotoSam: thanks...
Another Wow image - fantastic work on the post-processing Sam, love the blue too.. - this is just magic !
PhotoSam: thank you../.
Beautifully exposed Sam....great detail and that door is perfect
PhotoSam: thanks phil...
Feels like Narnia world, the doors are going to happen and we'll see lions, flying dragons etc. Great work on this.
